Schmid German Kitchens are based in Crouch End, North London. We are part of a German family business that has been trading since 1673 growing steadily over 10 generations. As we are a family business we pride ourselves on our friendly, professional service, and the quality of our German kitchens and appliances. Our attention to detail extends all the way from design to installation.

At Schmid German Kitchens we design, supply and install Contur German kitchens for clients in London and the surrounding area. Contur bespoke German kitchens are manufactured to order in Herrieden, Bavaria to your exact design specifications. Everything is possible! CONTUR GERMAN KITCHENS
Contur German kitchens are manufactured to order in Bavaria by a family business that produces over 550 kitchens a day. Each kitchen is as individual as our customers.
Our range of Contur German kitchens includes matt kitchens, handleless kitchens, and gloss kitchens. Contur kitchen fronts include laminates, gloss, matt and satin lacquers, and wood veneers. We can also supply many different styles of worktop including laminate worktops, Systemo and Silestone quartz worktops, Corian, Hi-Macs, stainless steel and wood worktops. It’s easy to see the quality of our German kitchens by looking at the design and surface finishes. However many aspects of the high quality workmanship of our kitchens is hidden within the units. Contur German kitchen units are strong and durable and constructed with high quality materials and mechanisms. They are built precisely to the millimetre on our modern production lines with continuous quality control.
The Contur kitchen storage range includes stylish organisation accessories and innovative storage systems. You can have drawers of different depths and widths, pull out larders and corner storage, open shelving and oak drawer organisers. There's a place for everything! Our optional extras include non-slip mats, integrated LED lighting, drawer organisers and splashback hanging storage.

An internet search led the couple to a small family company, Schmid German Kitchens.
“When we met the designer at his house, Will and I saw his kitchen and changed our minds about what we wanted”, says Lucy. “We scrapped the idea of a wooden worktop in favour of a white stone one, and added grey base units to pick out the colours of the floor tiles.”
Within weeks of the building work finishing the couple’s kitchen was fitted.
”If we were going to have something bespoke, then we wanted it to look different,” says Lucy. “Our designer was a perfectionist, and our kitchen is full of amazing details that make all the difference. Everything is beautifully designed and well made.”

OUR PORTFOLIO
We recently installed a matt glass handleless kitchen in Crouch End, London. The door fronts are in lava black matt and the worktop is stainless steel.
The appliances are from Siemens and Gaggenau include an induction hob, two integrated ovens, and an integrated microwave. The extractor is from Falmec and fits discretely into the cupboard above the hob.
The upward opening wall units have integrated LED lighting to illuminate the worktop.
